Special are a voluntary charity, run by Rory and Julie who both hold down full times jobs. We do this so that all the money raise by the charity is spent on the reason we set-up, to support parents with Autistic children and young people.

Hello! I'm Rory and I'm the Co-Director of Special!

I started the charity in July of 2007 to help families in West Lothian and Scotland with Autistic children and young people. Julie joined me in January 2008 to look after the accounts, which considering I have trouble with the 3 times table, was a great relief! We're just a fledgling charity, but with events planned and projects established we hope to help as many people as possible. 2008 was a great year for the charity and are looking to build on our success in 2010!

	Hey I'm Julie! As Co-Director of Special, I will have the task of looking after the accounts and making sure all your hard earned cash and fundraising goes towards what Special is all about! Get involved and think of some whacky fundraising ideas! It will be a lot of fun, going towards a cause that really matters in our local community and I simply had to get myself amongst it!
