Volunteering
Volunteering is the most rewarding and one the most important jobs in our society today. It takes a special type of person to give up their time to help others.
Here at Special Scotland, we help find volunteers to work directly with families all over Scotland. Posts will be put on this page when families are looking for unique, fun loving people to help their children.
Are you a parent or a guardian looking for volunteers to start your home program? Contact us and we will advertise here. Please email us with a description of what you are looking for, contact details (these will not be disclosed) and a copy of a poster you may have been using.

Tutors Wanted!
Edinburgh
We are looking for tutors to work with our seven year old son two or
three afternoons (not Thursdays) per week or weekends. We’ve been
running a VBA style programme for about a year and currently have one
other tutor and a team consultant working with us. Our family is based
on the south west side of Edinburgh. Experience of similar work would
be an advantage but is not essential as training and regular support
will be given. Playfulness and enthusiasm is essential.
Our phone number is 0131 449 3439 if you would like to call for a chat
or you can email hugow@blueyonder.co.uk.
Thanks and all the best
